What do I need?
A Windows 10 or 11 PC (64-bit) and a music app that loads VST3 plugins. There is no Mac version.
Which music apps does it work in?
Tested in Cakewalk Sonar. FL Studio, Ableton Live and REAPER are coming soon: they get listed here once they have been tested.
How do I install it?
- Close your music app. Download the ZIP from the Glidewire store and extract all of it (don't run anything from inside the ZIP).
- Open PowerShell as administrator in the extracted folder and run the one install command from INSTALL.txt. It ends with "Glidewire Audio 1.0.0 install PASS" and puts the plugins in Common Files\VST3\Glidewire Audio.
- Open your music app and rescan plugins. INSTALL.txt shows where the rescan button is in Sonar, FL Studio, Ableton Live and REAPER. Look for the Glidewire plugins.
To update later, run the same command again; your own presets are kept. Prefer not to run a script? Copy the .vst3 folders from the payload folder into that same VST3 folder instead, and keep using copies from then on (don't mix the two ways in one folder). The download isn't code-signed, so Windows may show a publisher warning. You also need the Microsoft Visual C++ x64 runtime; the ZIP doesn't install it.
Is it a subscription?
No. You pay once and keep it. Every v1.x update is free. No license keys and no online activation.
Can I get a refund?
All sales are final because Glidewire is an instant digital download. If it doesn't work on your computer and support can't fix it within 14 days of purchase, we'll refund you. Just email support@glidewireaudio.com.
